Because of the great success they had, typical orchestras began to reproduce quickly. Espósitos’s was the third in being created for Columbia company, which had already hired Vicente Greco and Juan Maglio. Espósito, the founder and director of the orchestra, created a new style when he started to play tango at a lower speed than other orchestras did. This caused an interpretative evolution, since arrabal tango would, in time, acquire more slowness. Genaro was also one of the pioneers in taking tango to Paris. When he returned to his country, his popularity was in continuous growth. Besides, this orchestra recorded many tangos that were successful at that time and that we now remember with nostalgia.
