Bandoneon player, composer and director. He was the brother of Francisco, Humberto and Rafael. He was born on June 24th, 1896. He made his debut in the orchestra of his brother Francisco, in 1917, at one of the performances the orchestra used to give at the Pigall. After that, he went to perform to Brazil, and in 1925 he travelled with his brother to Paris. In 1926 he was left in charge of the group, with which he performed at the Mirador Club of Nueva York. With his brother Rafael, he made several performances  in Madrid, Germany, Belgium, and, again, Paris. When he returned to Argentina, he participated in many radio shows, and also performed at the opening of the Maipú Pigall cabaret. In 1936 he was a member of the tango group organized by El Mundo radio station. In 1939 he formed the old-style quintet "Evocando el pasado" ("Evoking the past"). In 1954 he travelled to Japan, and in 1958 he made a tour around Brazil and the countries of Central America. He is the author of many songs, such as "Ahí va el dulce" ("There goes the sweet"), "Copa de ajenjo" ("The wormwood cup"), "Camarada" ("Fellow"), "Bailarín profesional" ("Professional dancer"), "La brisa" ("Breeze"), "La noche que me esperes" ("The night you'll wait for me") and many more.
