Singer. He was
born in Chacabuco, Buenos Aires in 1927. In the late 40s he started his
soloist career accompanied by guitars. In 1956, Anibal Troilo hired him to
form a duet with Roberto Goyeneche. He left some recordings that became
very popular, such as: “Te llaman malevo” (“They call you
fighter”) and “Callejón” (“Street alley”), a Pichuco´s
classic. In 1959 he left Troilo´s orchestra and began singing as a
soloist again.
