 Singer, guitar player and composer. He was born in Buenos Aires in 1939
and has been living in Paris for the last twenty years. He started his
career adding music to poems such as Raúl González Tuñón´s, Juan Gelman´s
and many other Argentine poets. He sang them as if they were tangos of
Creole valses, with his particular tone of voice which has been giving him a
great number of fans in the intellectual circles since the mid 60s. In Paris
he has recorded several albums accompanied by a quartet, with which he has
also recorded the tangos written by Julio Cortázar with music by Edgardo
Cantón.
